It is my goal in life to get people to stop using single-use plastic in their lunches. I love teaching other foodies, Japanophiles, and creatives how to do basically meal-prepping with an artistic lens.
I have done obento and other Japanese cooking workshops/events at Saboten Con, Kikori Con, Con Nichiwa, Taiyou Con, Okashicon, and several library cons. I would love to do a workshop at your convention, school, or library.

I don't have an online store selling bento boxes, picks, cutters, and all the other things to make playing with your food fun.
I do have the occasional pop-up shop at anime cons and speciality events. Or I might be doing an Obento Lady workshop near you.

Do you like going to anime cons? I do. My shirts will vary, but you will usually find me in Artist Alley wearing this blue happi coat and a white baseball hat.
One morning at the 2016 Kikoricon in Flagstaff, Arizona, I was setting up my table for the day before the vendor hall officially opened. Imagine my surprise when Johnny Yong Bosch suddenly walked by my booth! Depending on your age, you may know him from his Power Ranger days or his voice actor work in BLEACH, ONE PIECE, AKIRA, and TRIGUN, among others. You'll see the gift I gave him for his two, then-small children in his hand.
What was the gift? Chopsticks from the latest version of Super Sentai playing in Japan in 2016. If you don't know, Super Sentai has been around forever in Japan (seriously, my husband grew up watching it). It was the source material for what would become Power Rangers in the US in the 1990s.
